




Technical Town Hall v1
Description
This mod adds a Technical Town Hall building with 3 optional upgrades. Technical Town Halls are quite common in bigger German cities and centralize most of a cities technical departments. It oversees the construction and maintenance of municipal buildings and infrastructure such as schools, roads, parks, sports facilities, subway lines, or wastewater treatment plants.
You find the asset in Police & Administration / Administration once the vanilla Town Hall is unlocked. A prop, which can be used to connect buildings visually can be found in Props / Commercial Props.
The Technical Townhall employs 750 employees and can be upgraded with 3 independent sub-buildings, which can be placed within radius. All assets provide certain buffs.
Civil Engineering Office
– Additional space for the planning, construction and maintenance of public roads and squares.
– Employees: 200
– Spawns up to 10 road maintenance vehicles from its parking area.* After the vehicles return to the building, they will use the service parking spots. The building comes with a default street, to delete and exchange it with another type, you need the mod Better Bulldozer.
Park Authority
– Central administration of all park maintenance depots.
– Employees: 500
– At least in theory, cims should be able to use the benches and gym areas on the roof.
Environmental Protection Agency
– Monitors industrial ground and air pollution of industrial companies within the city limits.
– Employees: 650
– To drag a road or train track through its “hole” (if you want) you need the mod “Anarchy”.
Known Issues
– For whatever reason the Civil Engineering Office sometimes does not spawn road maintenance vehicles but park maintencance vehicles or even both. I don’t know why, maybe it’s a bug with the asset editor.
Models
Some variations of the Brockman Media Tower, I experimented with. ~ 16.000 vertices, 2k shared textures. All models are recolorable (with the mod “Recolor” or wait until the next official patch)
