The Guangdong Xinghai Concert Hall, inaugurated in 1998, stands as one of China’s most influential performing arts venues today, as well as one of the country’s finest professional concert halls renowned for its outstanding natural acoustics. Named after the celebrated Chinese musician Xian Xinghai, this concert hall is situated on Ersha Island along the Pearl River in Guangzhou. It features a 1,518-seat symphony hall, a 461-seat chamber music hall, a 100-seat art salon, a music space that accommodates up to 200 people, and a music-cultural plaza capable of hosting thousands. The venue is equipped with world-class facilities, including a massive pipe organ, multiple concert grand pianos, harps, timpani, and other large instruments, alongside state-of-the-art recording and production equipment.
