Gothic-Revival Church v2.0

This is a medium-sized gothic-revival (neo-gothic) church. It follows no real-life example and is instead a fictional building that draws inspiration from various church buildings in Dresden, Leipzig and Gera (Germany). Churches like these have been built in great numbers at the turn of the century when cities and towns alike exploded in the wake of the industrialization.

This also is a remake of my first ever Cities Skylines asset, reflecting 10 years of modelling and a ride that has been beyond amazing in this community, for which I am very grateful!

It can be found in the small parks section and extended with a transept and a small school building in the same style. The building can be recolored across all 3 channels. Parts with recolorability are brick and natural stone color as well as roof tiles. On its own, the building comes with a range of different color sets to give your cities a varied look.

Technical data:
The building utilizes a detailed LOD0 model and custom LOD1 and LOD2 meshes. The Asset uses PBR textures created using Substance Painter. LOD0 and LOD1 share a set of 2048×2048 textures, the LOD2 model uses its own 512×512 textures.

Geometry:
– Main Building: 105,478; 36,845; 491 tris
– Transept Extension: 18,844; 8,776; 118 tris
– School Extension: 25,064; 14,781; 342 tris
